ANTONIO CASSANO AC MILANS FORWARD WALLPAPERS

Antonio Cassano’s contract after the enigmatic Italy international was involved in a heated exchange with Sampdoria president, Riccardo Garrone at the club’s training ground.

However, Cassano uncharacteristically released an apology to Garrone and the club. He said, ”I am very disappointed at what happened and have already apologised to president Garrone, who I care for very much, in front of my teammates.

“I read that this whole affair might’ve been linked to transfer speculation, but I confirm that – if given the opportunity – it is my firm intention to remain at Sampdoria.”

While we don’t think Cassano will ever change, such is his passion and the undoubted knack of making sure everyone hears his opinion, whether you want to or not. There are signs that he is settling down, we’re sure there will be more bumps on the “Cassano” road, but the reaction from him and to acknowledge his president is something that is quite unheard of.

CAMORANESI JUVENTUS WINGER WALLPAPER

Juventus winger Mauro Camoranesi, who has been with his club for the past eight years.

Birmingham have also been linked to Camoranesi, however, ties seem to have been cut since initially extending a deal.

It is now a race for Everton and Rangers to come to an agreement that puts the Italian winger in one of their uniforms before the transfer window closes. Camoranesi would fit in well with both sides who are looking to add some wide-man attacking to their game.

DEL PIERO JUVENTUS WALLPAPER

Alessandro Del Piero confirmed himself as a Juve legend by becoming the club’s all time leading goal scorer. On Saturday the 35-year-old Italian popped up to poke home Juventus’ 2nd on the night, and his 179th career goal, in a 2-1 away win over AC Milan

The goal allowed the 35-year-old to overtake 1950's great Giampiero Boniperti in Juve’s record goal scorers.

ADRIANO AS ROMA FORWARD WALLPAPER

Adriano with an exit out of Roma in the January transfer window, the Brazilian says he will remain at Stadio Olimpico.

“Everyone, including my agent, are saying that I’m leaving, right? Well, what counts is what I say. And I repeat Roma are and will be my team,” Adriano told Corriere dello Sport.

“I cannot hide the fact that since I arrived at Roma, I have been welcomed very well and just the thought of that is enough to make me emotional. I did hope to play more, but I also know that I had a couple of injuries, which put the brakes on my return.

“I have only been left disappointed and surprised not to be on the pitch once and that was obviously away to Cluj. For me, it was a moment in which I had to make a point out of the situation.

“Then something happened that took away any doubt in my mind: the comments made by Rosella Sensi who reiterated her faith in Adriano.

ADRIAN MUTU FIORENTINA FORWARD WALLPAPERS

Fiorentina forward Adrian Mutu will not be moving to Championship team, Queens Park Rangers.

Flavio Briatore, who recently handed control of the club over to Bernie Ecclestone, has denied the rumours.

Controversial attacker Mutu, who returned from a drugs ban to play for the Viola in October, has had previous stints with Inter Milan, Parma, Chelsea, and Juventus.

Briatore said in the Daily Star, “At this moment we are not interested in Mutu. There is a coach who decides who he wants and he is happy with the team he has.
